Natural Perlite - Superior Aeration, Enhanced Growth 🌿
Perlite - a cherished mineral in horticulture, emerges from the plant realm. Born from heated basalt, this silvery-white wonder contains countless pores. Deep underground, basalt rocks with precious pearls give rise to perlite. Through intense heat at 850 - 900°C, these pearls dissolve and expand, forming perlite's captivating structure. Abundant quarries worldwide yield this botanical gem for nurturing plants.

I, PERLITE: STRUCTURE & PROPERTIES
Perlite has a porous and lightweight structure with numerous air pockets. The pores & air pockets in perlite allows it to retain water and provide excellent air circulation.
PERLITE OFFERS SEVERAL KEY ADVANTAGES IN FARMING:Â Â
Breathability: Enhances soil ventilation, preventing soil blockage and        improving airflow.
Â

Water retention: With porous structure, perlite effectively retains water, providing plants with consistent moisture without waterlogging.
Â

Lightweight: Reduces soil density, making it easier to handle during         planting.
Â

Porosity: Increases soil porosity, enhancing aeration and nutrient           distribution.
Â

Contamination-free: Our Perlite is free from impurities and harmful bacteria, promoting a healthy environment for plants.

II, PRODUCTION & SCREENING PROCESS
1. We mine Perlite stone from dedicated quarries located in volcanic rock layers. This extraction process involves drilling, blasting, and excavation.
2. The Perlite stone undergoes a pyrolysis process in a high-temperature furnace. This extensive heating creates air bubbles within the Perlite stone, resulting in an expanded material that is lightweight and excellent at retaining heat.
3. After the pyrolysis process, we carefully clean the Perlite to remove any residue and impurities that could harm plants. This step ensures that the Perlite is safe for use in horticulture.
4. The cleaned Perlite then goes through our screening system, where it is sorted into different particle sizes. This allows us to produce various types of Perlite suitable for different horticultural applications, tailored to specific size and structural requirements.
- For chunky Perlite products, we select larger particles after the screening process, skipping the extensive pyrolysis treatment. This approach produces chunky Perlite particles without internal air bubbles, which greatly improve aeration and drainage when used in soil.
- Thanks to these characteristics, our Perlite has become a sought-after soil additive in agriculture. It effectively enhances soil quality and creates optimal conditions for plant growth.

III, USAGE GUIDELINES
Cautions: When working with perlite, wear a mask & goggles to protect against dust inhalation.
1. Growing Medium
The blending ratio of Perlite with soil usually ranges from 10% to 50%, depending on the specific requirements of the plants and the type of soil. For plants that require high aeration and good drainage, the ratio of Perlite can be higher.
Enhances soil aeration for improved oxygen absorption by plant roots.
- Improves drainage, preventing soil waterlogging and promoting healthy root development.
- Retains soil moisture, maintaining the necessary level for plant growth.
2. Soil cover
Ensure the soil around the plant's base is moist.
- Spread a thin layer of Perlite around the base then extending it outward
- Preserves moisture, balancing water levels.
- Shields from sunlight, preventing damage.
- Acts as a natural weed and insect barrier.
3. Compost organic fertilizer
Combine Perlite and organic fertilizer in suitable proportions, usually around 1 part Perlite to 5 parts organic fertilizer. Adjust the ratio based on the specific fertilizer type and requirements.
- Thoroughly mix Perlite and organic fertilizer to achievenuniform distribution, enhancing the decomposition of organic matter.
- Enhances organic matter decomposition through improved aeration and drainage in the compost mixture.
- Promotes plant growth by creating a favorable environment for beneficial bacteria and microbial activity.
IV, STORAGE
Proper storage and safety precautions for Perlite:
- Store Perlite in a cool, dry location, shielded from direct sunlight.
- Ensure the Perlite container is tightly sealed to prevent moisture and environmental exposure.
- To prevent dampness, avoid contact with water or high humidity environments.
- Protect Perlite from sources of heat, open flames, or flammable materials to prevent fire hazards.
- Limit exposure to strong chemicals, acids, or alkalis, as they can compromise Perlite's properties.
Adhering to these safety and storage guidelines will help ensure the safety and quality of Perlite during both its use and storage.
